The JB Construction 1 team faced numerous challenges while working on the construction of an Aldi store in an upcoming residential development. One of the biggest obstacles was the location of the store, which was situated in a complex area with multiple entry staircases and block paved car parks. This made it difficult to maneuver heavy construction equipment and materials, thus requiring the team to come up with creative solutions to ensure smooth operations.
Moreover, the existing infrastructures posed a challenge as the construction of the store required walkways to be built to connect it with the surrounding buildings. This required meticulous planning and coordination with the developers and architects to ensure that the walkways were built in a way that was both efficient and safe for the future residents of the area. The team also had to take into consideration the existing foot traffic and ensure minimal disruption to the neighboring establishments.
Another major challenge that the team had to face was the unforeseen and continuous bad weather conditions throughout the duration of the project. This not only caused delays in the construction process, but also made it difficult to work efficiently and safely. To overcome this challenge, the team had to constantly adapt and find alternative solutions to continue working while ensuring the safety of the workers and the quality of the construction.
