B Construction 1 were handed a site in which the cut & fill had been completed. There was a variation in which we assisted with regarding the building platform not been suitable for construction. An operation that saw us remove and remediate 1000m3 of material in the building platform area.
An Aldi store located in an upcoming residential development. The consisted of carparks, walkways to existing infrastructures, multiple entry staircases as well as a block paved carpark.
An Aldi Store situated withing a residential area. The store build consisted of a carpark, attenuation tank, interceptor tank and a large volume of topsoil to cover the landscape areas.
A challenging Aldi Store build due to the high-water table in the area. The store was located near the River Trent.
The key challenge for our Client is meeting a tight programme. There is often a requirement to complete the stores within a firm deadline, set immediately upon approval of plans.
The greatest challenge with this project was the incredibly short tender, procurement and mobilisation period. There were only three weeks between the initial communication from the Client and arriving on site with labour.
JB Construction 1 have successfully completed both the Earthworks and Phase 1 and 2 foundations for the MEPC Silverstone site. This included removing approx. 60,000m3 of material, utilising GPS dozers and excavators to stabilise the earthworks activities.
